Psychotherapeutic Counselling
Providing a safe space for you, your child and your family to process and heal.
About me
Youre in a Safe Space
Hi I’m Kerry Elden. I am a highly qualified, BACP registered and experienced psychotherapeutic counsellor, educated with a master’s degree from the university of Cambridge. I use an integrative approach, which means that I can draw from different types of therapeutic theory to fit with your individual needs, rather than trying to fit you to the theory. I provide a safe, comfortable, nonjudgmental space, where you or your child can explore thoughts and feelings to begin to process difficulties that you might be having.
As well as working with adults, I also specialise in working with children, adolescents and their
families.
Sometimes young people need a person outside of their family to help them feel understood and work through some of their feelings. Some of the difficulties are that they may have experienced trauma, bullying, difficulties with school, bereavement, anxiety, low mood and self-harm.
My specialised training enables me to create a safe and nurturing space where children and adolescents can explore their feelings and experiences using various therapeutic techniques, including creative therapies such as play, sand and art. I’m dedicated to helping them build resilience and develop essential emotional skills that will help them to find more appropriate coping skills in the future.
my Values
How can I help?
For everyone to have a safe to be able to talk about and explore their feelings
Giving both physical space and somewhere where people are emotionally unconditionally accepted to talk about their feelings and personal experiences
